Well, I can’t take much more of this.
I just checked my weight history over the last two weeks, and you know what? I’ve lost a whopping one pound.
This is very discouraging. I can’t continue like this. I drop a couple of pounds, then pick it right back up, then down a pound, then back up, then down half a pound, then down a couple of tenths, then up again…it’s ridiculous.
I guess Phinney would tell me to “be happy with what you’ve achieved! Be satisfied with still being almost 100 pounds overweight!”, but I’m simply not in the mood for that sort of garbage. Right now, I’m ready to go buy a loaf of sourdough bread and a block of white cheddar cheese, a bunch of black grapes and a bottle of wine and have at. Maybe a little salami or something to go with it. Or a 12 pack of Taco Bell tacos, or better still, a set of 12 Burger King tacos.
In other words, I’m not seeing the results I should over the last two weeks, and I’m ready to throw in the towel for a day.
*Sigh* Up to 238.2lbs today. And no, I won’t give up. But doggone it, this is beyond frustrating now.
